Duster Racing was originally formed in 2004 by Dustin Lagrange (DusterLag) as a one car operation that quickly formed into a multi-car operation running is several different leagues & series within the NASCAR Heat game. By the end of 2004 Duster Racing had formed a technical alliance with Fast Lane Motorsports actively sharing all technology & combining several programs including engine development. With their fast growing relationship, Duster Racing & Fast Lane Motorsports (Dustin Lagrange & Paul Strickland Jr.)(DusterLag & doZer24) merged in January of 2005 to form Cutting Edge Motorsports. CEM grew to a 10 car operation at its peak.  In mid-2006 the formation of a wing team to CEM, Cutting Edge Racing, was formed to allow additional teams for be fielded in the NHRL\'s (NASCAR Heat Racing League) series to allow rookies to gain experience & grow while still benefiting from the CEM technology.  Duster Racing is now the result of the seperation of Cutting Edge Motorsports when the two owners decided to seperate the two operations of "NASCAR Heat" and "NASCAR Racing 2003". Duster Racing was reformed in its current form in mid-2008 with only one driver, DusterLag, with hope of a bright future.
